Position Overview

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to play a critical role in building relationships with new and existing key clients. Our ideal candidate should ensure client satisfaction and be able to identify new opportunities to increase sales. As a Key Account Manager, you will represent our company and interact with key clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage our key accounts portfolio.
  • Achieve assigned strategic account objectives.
  • Manage RFPs, RFIs, and bid deals.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Communicate with major clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries.
  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs.
  • Manage key account issues in a timely and effective manner to resolution.
  • Act as the liaison between key customers and internal teams.
  • Identify and approach new potential strategic customers.
  • Prepare annual key account plans.
  • Perform quarterly business reviews.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager.
  • Ability to navigate through large organizations and identify the key decision makers.
  • Experience in specification and commercial lighting sales and assets.
  • Sales experience in B2B environment.
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and Account management systems
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Customer-first approach and an ability to address customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

  • Travel: possibly up to 20%
  • Must be able to travel to the United States
