Central West Basin Linear Park, FL

The area that is now the Central West Basin Linear Park was previously a severely underused tract of land in Miami-Dade county, Florida. It was a 19 acre space that residents couldn’t utilize and was completely unlit at night. That all changed as a result of the city’s revitalization efforts. This park now boasts a 1.5 mile asphalt multi-use path with native plant landscaping and is lit entirely with solar lighting.

The SCL2 Series luminaire was installed exclusively for the pathway. The ease of installation and reliability made it an easy choice for the city. Now, residents can enjoy the green space with added safety and security in the evening.
