Morris Park in McAllen, Texas, is a large green space that connects local elementary and middle schools. The recently completed phase 1 of this park project brought a new walk and bike pathway circling the park –offering a great way for citizens to stay active and safely walk between the two schools.

“We chose solar lighting because this area is secluded, and we don’t have electrical power at the site.”

Now, the once dark pathway is lined with PLB Solar bollards offering excellent ground illumination for park visitors to enjoy the path in the early mornings or into the evenings while saving the municipality thousands of dollars running power to the park.
