Posse Grounds Park, Sedona, AZ

Posse Grounds Park was Sedona’s first park. Stretching over 78 acres, this park offers multiple sports fields and courts, a skate park, and a large dog park. Several pathways and a parking lot needed to be illuminated for community accessibility in the evenings, with local lighting ordinances a concern for the area.

We were running into some bedrock that slowed that last few down, but our installation partner has said the ground screws have been beneficial and cool to install, which has sped up installation times and reduced ground disturbances. So far, the lighting temperature and coverage are precisely what we were looking for.”

The City of Sedona had previously worked with FLT on several projects. For this park, they installed both the PLB Series solar bollard for the pathways and the SCL Series luminaire for the parking lot. The warm amber LED temperature was used to respect the Dark Sky policies of nearby Flagstaff.
